If you need some summer reading inspiration, you might find it over at Memetales.
They are hosting a really fun summer reading challenge, signing up is easy. You just join memetales online then download the app on your device, we happen to be using my Kindle Fire.
There are about twenty books already listed for free and they add a new one each week.
The themes for this summer are:

Every week, come back to get inspired on each of the themes.
At the beginning of each week they will announce the book list for that week. There are a number of blogs participating where you will find fun go along activities as well.
If your little ones need a little added incentive, the website also includes printable stickers and certificates for each week of the program.
