One of our activities lately is to use the blank inserts for our Education Cubes to practice sight words. I write down the current lessons sight words, plus some from previous lessons if there is extra room, and we play games with the cubes.
The boys recently dug up a box and started tossing the cubes. Any cube that landed in the box had one word read from it. Most of the cubes ended up in the box and J's reading practice was combined with some great energy burning.
